1. Fiction is writing that comes from a writer's imagination. It can be inspired by actual events or completely made up.
2. Plot is the sequence of events in a story. The plot is the writer's plan for what happens,when it happens and to whom it happens. A plot is usually built around a central conflict. Most plots develop in four stages:
Exposition
Rising Action
Climax
Falling Action
3.Characters are the people,animals,or imaginary creatures that take part in the action of the story.
4. A story's setting is the time and place in which the action of the story happens.
5.A theme is the meaning,moral,or message about life that the writer conveys to the reader.
6. To read fiction you have to look at the title and illustrations, and skin through the pages to familiarize yourself with the selection.
